It's never too early to pay attention to the MLB standings. My boys are kicking major butt...2-1 in Texas and a sweep in Baltimore, which puts them in the lead for AL East. To sweeten the deal...the Yankees have only managed to win 2 of their first 6 games...which puts them last. He he he.
If you're worried that I'm getting a little too emotionally involved so early in the season...please do not fret. You see, I am a tried and true Boston fan, which means that as excited as I get during their winning streaks, I am fully aware that they will eventually start losing...and when the Sox lose, they lose big. (86 years worth of losing, to be exact.) You may think that I'm setting myself up for disappointment...getting so excited only 6 games into the season...and you're probably right. But...I WILL continue to be excited just the same. Because I am a Red Sox fan...truly one of God's most pitiful creatures...and proud of it!
