I have shared with most of you that the doctor discovered a growth on my dad's vocal chords. He saw a pathologist/oncologist yesterday and they discovered a second growth (on the interior portion of his vocal chords) however...neither appear to be cancerous. He is scheduled for surgery next Monday and they will perform a biopsy to verify that the tissue is benign.

That's so great! Will continue to pray for his surgery - and that he doesn't come out sounding like Alex when it's all said and done!
