Still on a chocolate high...

I'm not a HUGE chocolate person. In fact, most of my life I didn't even like it...more and more, though, I find myself craving it...and even enjoying it! Last night sealed the deal. I love chocolate. :)

Our dinner at The Melting Pot was phenomenal. A 4 course meal! Cheddar cheese fondue (with bread, veggies and apples for dipping) was our first course. Next we enjoyed salads...mine was a mandarin almond salad with an Asian-inspired dressing and Joe thoroughly enjoyed their mushroom salad. Next we were served a platter of tuna, shrimp, curry chicken, teriyaki sirloin, filet mignon and potstickers...alongside a veggie platter of potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms and zucchini. We cooked these in a pot of coq au vin...A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

Last, but NOT least, we finished off our meal with Ying Yang...a milk and white chocolate swirled fondue with strawberries, bananas, pineapple, pound cake, brownies, marshmallows, and cheesecake for dipping. Yummmmm...

As we left, we realized that we forgot to have someone take our picture at dinner. So...this is our attempt at capturing the moment ourselves. It only took 5 or 6 attempts to get our faces (with Joe's eyes open!) and the Melting Pot sign in the background...all without falling over from laughing so hard.

It was a wonderful night...the ambiance, the food and, most of all...the company.

Thanks babe for an unforgettable 14th anniversary!!
