A couple of days ago (my memory is so bad, I honestly can't tell you when) we were headed somewhere new (again, don't remember where)...but be patient, there's a funny story here somewhere. Anyway, I was driving along (printed map in hand) and was concerned we had gone too far. So...I asked Kate to grab the atlas and double check my directions. She asked me where to look, and I replied, "I don't know...flip to the back and google it".
It didn't occur to me, until she laughed, what I had said.
I'm obviously not the only one who has done this, because according to Webster's Dictionary, the word google is now a verb.
google (v) - to search for information on the Internet, esp. using the Google search engine.
Granted, I used the word a little more broadly than the definition given above...but, Kate knew exactly what I meant.
Another word I use a lot is "ginormous" (gigantic + humongous)...and guess what?? I googled (<--ha ha) it...and it's a word, too.
ginormous (adj) - simply huge; extremely large.
So, I've decided...if you get enough people to say it, anything can become a word.
Hmmm...so what do you guys think of the word "squidgy"?

Squidgy - adj. - a substance which is neither hard nor soft; somewhat chewy and possibly slimey. i.e. - squeaky cheese and clams.
I think one of my favorite non-words is from a guy at our church who likes to say craptastic.
have you googled squidgy? It comes up.
