April is National Frog Month...also known as, National Amphibian Awareness Month.
I had no idea.
After a little googling, I discovered that not only is April "National Frog Month", but 2008 is "The Year of the Frog". Both are part of a campaign to raise awareness of the amphibian extinction crisis.
Again...I had no idea.

We have 'a million' frogs in our back yard if your kids ever want to go frog searching...
