We decided to stick to cupcakes...easier to divvy up and eat, but I was limited in what I could do, creatively speaking. So...this is what I came up with.
Snips, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails
The words and animals were made by piping dark and white chocolate (colored with candy dyes) onto parchment paper to cool. The result is edible cupcake decorations.

Very nice job! That's more creative than what I'd think to do. I'd still love to take a cake decorating class some day - but there's that time and money thing that goes with it. Susan Ott forwards me cake decorating ideas sometimes. You could get good ideas from her too.

Those cupcakes are so cute. I'm going to show my daughter. She loves cupcakes. I like your display too. I think I see something fun like that for a CM event in your future! ha!
