Isn't she beautiful??My kids are all cuddled around the fire doing their schoolwork. It's not really the dreamy picture you're imagining...they're each vying for the best spot in front of the fire and at least once every five minutes I hear, "Hey Mom...I think it's time to poke this fire! Can I do it???" (HA! Yeah right!) The boys got up to get their next school book and my littlest hops up into the "prized spot" and says to herself, "Ahhh...this is the life."
She's SO right...this is the life! We have so much to be thankful for this Christmas, a healthy family, warm home, food for our bellies, the opportunity to cuddle in front of the fire with my children and teach them at home, family, friends that have become like family, and each other.
